PLEASE HELP KEEP HONEY AND DINGO SAFE!!!
Honey and Dingo are two young, cute, friendly dogs who narrowly escaped death in the shelter and are searching for their forever homes. They have no rescues or fosters and thus must live at a kennel. They need your help. Every day it costs $23 per dog to board. There are no rescue rates. The kennel they were at did offer rescue rates but no longer can do so due the area-wide problem of demand for space. Most kennels are full, which severely limits our options. I cannot afford their full rates so had to move the dogs elsewhere.
Honey, and Dingo especially, have now endured boarding for so long that they need more frequent visits and outings to stay adoptable, so placing them in a rural facility was not an option. The kennel staff are kind and cooperative, but they can't take direct donations. It's no longer an hour commute. I am able to go Monday - Saturday to take Honey out and a couple times a week to get Dingo out to give them affection, exercise, work some commands and give them a chance to get a break from the small space they each call "home".
We have worked together in the past to faithfully get these pups the medical care they needed and they have fully recovered from their injuries. Both are current on vaccinations, sterilized, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Their fur is sleek and soft, they know commands and to keep their kennels clean. Dingo is friendly to other dogs but afraid they may hurt him. Honey is friendly and both are working hard to make better lives for themselves and I am giving a good chunk of every day (in hundred-degree heat, too) to help them get there.
PLEASE HELP ME HELP THEM! I've devoted thousands of my own funds over the months to keep these and other dogs safe and the harsh reality is, I just don't have it any more--no savings and no credit line left--so I must ask you for help. TOGETHER THIS IS POSSIBLE! They each deserve to have their own loving home with their own people they can devote themselves to. Please help us make it happen!
